Hello - My name is Wendy Brown and I am the owner of Wendy's Doghouse, Inc. Since our inception thirty years ago, I have always believed that a well groomed animal is usually happy and healthy. There have always been dogs in my life for as long as I can remember and I can't imagine life without our k-9 and feline companions.

Before I bought my first grooming salon, somewhere in the mid-1970s, I was an aspiring artist and studied commercial art in college. Soon after buying my St. Paul salon, I opened a second location in Minneapolis. I learned the Art of Grooming and how to run the business in no time flat. My grooming salons allowed me the flexibility to travel the country, showing dogs and doing a little breeding as well. Believe me... those were the days!

Through the years, I have developed my handling and grooming skills to the fullest. I make sure each and every client that visits my salon gets only the very best in service. My staff is expertly trained in all the newest styles. We pride ourselves in doing meticulous work... Always! Our reputation speaks for itself (but check out our testimonials page).
